As COO of Unhedged, Saskia builds the business that allows everyday investors to access sophisticated algorithmic investment products.

With a Quant education, Saskia built a career in Strategy. Knowing that algorithmic investing can generate better results, standard restrictions for management consultants limited her ability to use them. Saskia identified a customer need without a solution.

As a consultant for A.T. Kearney, Saskia focused on Financial services across the Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney offices, exposing her to financial institutions and practices all around the world. Client engagements ranged from top-level Strategy issues to large scale organisation transformations.

Following an MBA at INSEAD, Saskia moved into Fintech as Volt bank’s Head of Strategy & Execution. Volt is a Banking-as-a-Service provider and Australia’s first challenger bank to get a restricted and full banking license. Saskia managed the launch of Volt’s first product and the growth of the business as Volt’s employee base scaled by 3x.

In addition to her MBA, Saskia holds a Master in Quantitative Finance and a Bachelor in Econometrics & Operations Research from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
