Lisa Fitzgerald is a partner in the Corporate group at Lander & Rogers and heads up the firm's Digital Economy practice. Lisa specialises in technology, including blockchain and digital assets, data protection, privacy, cyber, media, IP and telecommunications.
Lisa's expertise extends to cross-border transactions, digital transformation projects, development of legal tech and designing data governance frameworks. Lisa coined the term 'splitchain' to help anchor blockchain use cases within a legal framework. Lisa was an associate to former High Court judge, the Honourable Kenneth Hayne AC QC, served as Acting Chief Privacy Officer for a major bank, is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Councillor on its Victorian State Council.
Lisa also sits on the Media and Communications Committee of the Australia Law Council, and the CEDA Business Dynamism and Competitiveness Member Advisory Committee and has been a Non-Executive Director for a global software company.
